How long does it take?
Please visit this State Department link to check how long it will take to get a visa interview. Travelers 13 and younger and 80 and older do not need to interview.
Documents to support your visa application
- Evidence that you have strong ties to your country such as family ties, employment, property, or religious ties.
- Evidence that the visa applicant can cover all expenses.
Medical treatment
- Medical diagnosis and the reason why treatment is needed in the United States.
- A Letter from a physician or medical facility in the United States stating the projected length and all costs of the treatment.
